In 1984, Ross Turner founded his first design studio (Mechanical Man Graphics) in New York City. Early clients included Vogue-Butterick, Bloomingdales, Jordache, and Rockaways' Playland Amusement Park. Since returning to his native California in 1988, Ross has designed four-color magazines; supervised production for wine label printing; served as creative director for a fine jewelry designer; and created product packaging and point-of-purchase store displays.
